Letters: 'Rainbow Bridge' idea a testament to youth

A huge kudos to the Kaukauna High School sophomore Nick Schommer for his proposal for the "Rainbow Bridge" at the Kaukauna dog park.

It's refreshing in this time of negativity and unrest to read such a positive project is being pursued, especially by the youth of our community.

I'm sure I'm speaking for the rest of the dog lovers of the area in saying we're excited for a year-round facility to open.

The exercise and socialization our dogs are given at a dog park is so greatly appreciated by our four-legged friends.

On behalf of all the dog owners of the Fox Valley, and myself, thank you to all involved with the building of the new park. We look forward to mid- February's opening.
